Certainly one of our most diversified tours in terms of destinations and its variety of nature. You will drive through the endless landscapes of the Övörkhangai aimag, it is part of the Orkhon Valley Cultural Landscape World Heritage Site, followed by the Orkhon valley until reaching Kharkhorin, where you will visit the Erdene Zuu Monastery, probably the earliest surviving Buddhist monastery in Mongolia. Your journey will continue to the highest waterfall in Mongolia, a stunning scenery is guaranteed as well as the opportunity to try your luck and engage in some fishing. All our tours are accompanied by a private chef who will prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner with fresh ingredients to make sure you have enough energy for the ride.

Day 1 Arrival in Ulaanbaatar City, where we will pick you up from the airport, followed by breakfast or lunch, depending on your arrival and a short rest from your flight. You will then meet with the crew to receive your equipment etc., followed by a safety briefing and general Q&A as well as a short test ride to get used to your bike. If desired our staff can then take you to do some cashmere shopping. The first night will be spending at the hotel in Ulaanbaatar.
Day 2 We will start riding to Khustai National Park, which is about 80 km of distance from Ulaanbaatar. There will be a light lunch served on the way. As it is the first day we will take it easy and get used to the bikes, gears and different road conditions. The Khustai National Park in Mongolia is world famous for the successful reintroduction of the Przewalski horse. We will spend the night right at the Elsen Tasarkhai Sand dunes in a tent, followed by a delicious BBQ and bonfire in the open wild.
Day 3 After an early breakfast you will enjoy the sand dunes. Riding enduro bikes on the sand is a lot of fun once you got the hang of it, we can show you some tricks to improve quickly if you haven’t tried it before. We will continue our tour to the next destination, the Orkhon River Valley via Kharkhorin, which is the ancient capital of the Mongol empire where lunch will be served. We will continue to our final camping spot in the Orkhon River Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The road will be extreme off-roading and its lot of fun riding through this area. Overnight in a tent in the open wild.
Day 4-5 After breakfast we will start our tour to Orkhon Waterfall, the highlight of our tour. The waterfall is 24 meters high, the highest in Mongolia as well as the longest river in the country. We will stop and rest at the waterfall about 2 hours, lunch will be served directly at the waterfall. In the afternoon we will continue our trip to Tsenkher Hot. We will enjoy the next two days in hot spa and surroundings while bathing in up to 80 degrees warm thermal water.
Day 6 We will start our tour to Ugii Lake which is about 100km away, riding through open grassland and a mix of dirt road. Lunch will be served at the camp next to the lake. You can enjoy the rest of the day swimming, relaxing by the lake, followed by dinner with small party.
Day 7 A tough ride of 280 km to Ulaanbaatar is waiting for you. A light lunch will be served on the way. When we return to the city, we will have a short break and shower time, then meet at the restaurant for a farewell dinner.
Day 8 Departure day! Have a great flight back and we hope to see you again soon.

Tours map

The river is 10-60 m wide to begin with but it becomes 120-150 m around the end and the speed of the river flow decreases. The Orkhon has many species of fish like the pike, Siberian sturgeon, taimen, asian common asp, Siberian grayling, roach etc. There are many rocks and boulders around the river as well as some waterfalls like a small waterfall with 4-5 m height and the Ulaan tsutgalan waterfall biggest in Mongolia at a height of 26 m. The Orkhon river Valley has been protected since 2006 as a National Park.
