The Orkhon Waterfall tour is one of our most diverse tours in terms of landscapes and smaller cities we pass through. You will ride through steppes, mountains, cross rivers and it even includes one day of sand dune riding, at the beginning of the Gobi region. With 1,124km, the Orkhon is the longest river in Mongolia and is home to many species of fish like the pike, Siberian sturgeon, taimen, Asian common asp, Siberian grayling, roach etc. There are many rocks and boulders around the river as well as smaller waterfalls with 4-5 m height as well as the Ulaan-tsutgalan waterfall, the biggest in Mongolia with a height of 26m. The Orkhon river Valley has been protected since 2006 as a National Park. You can view this tour and its breathtaking landscapes in our image video.
